"Though I've belted you and flayed you,
By the livin' Gawd that made you,
You’re a better man than I am, Gunga Din!"
I had no internet today. Unable to connect to the world via the World Wide Web, you will be subjected to my ratings.
The world’s opinion of America is deemed to be mostly negative. This is perhaps true but is most likely overstated by the main stream media. Be that as it may, I contend that if the world does see the United States in a negative light, it is not because we have been to harsh in dealing with foreign nations and peoples, on the contrary, I think it is because we have been too soft.
America is like the big retarded kid, strong, compassionate and concerned that others might view him negatively, so, he does everything he can to be liked. There is no need to go into what America does around the world concerning good-will, that is well documented and unfortunately it has done very little to improve the image of America.
The rest of the world takes advantage of America’s goodwill. Leaders all over the globe would have their people think otherwise, this gives them a common enemy to stay united against and it gives those leaders an excuse for why their people live in third world hell holes. The leaders of these nations rape and pillage their own people but portray themselves as the hero who dares stand up to the lone super power who is making their existences a living hell and he doesn’t have to worry about the big retard getting mad. So what does America do to defend her image? It gives them more stuff in hopes of appeasing. We have treated the nations of the world like spoiled children; act up enough and we will buy you something to keep you quiet or, as in the case of the gentle giant retard who keeps getting “kick me” signs taped to his back, he smiles and keep acting nice to avoid confrontation. This hasn’t worked well to date either for the retard or America.
France is a different story. France is the spoiled rich kid who tries to show how tough he is by picking on the much bigger retard knowing full well that the gentle giant will never fight back.
As long as America allows itself to be pushed around, it will never be respected. We need to start keeping peace around the world not by paying tin-horn dictators bribe money or trying to “negotiate” with gun totting thugs who terrorize the helpless, but with puissance, power, might and the constant threat of using them.
Ever since world war two, we have been satisfied with fighting wars to stalemates. This has set a bad precedence. What incentive is there for two-bit leaders not to stand up to America if we don’t actually threaten them? Even when we finally, after decades of threatening Saddam Hussein, did invade Iraq, twice, we let his own people hang him. We should have done it the first time we went to war with him and we should have done it in a “Mussolini-esq” manner; meat hooks in the center of Baghdad.
Now Jimmy Carter says America and Israel are at fault for Hamas and Fatah killing one another in the Palestinian territory. I guess we just haven’t been nice enough to these reasonable Muslim terror groups so Bush says he wants to give Fatah a few million dollars to help “support” them. Fatah, the former P.L.O. run by Yassar Arafat has achieved political stature and respect from the world because they won the free elections held in Palestine. Now that Hamas has won the majority in the parliament and Fatah holds the presidency with President Mahmoud Abbas', there is a civil war going on and once again we will reward this violence by giving them money; nice retard, go lay down.
The P.L.O. killed murdered, maimed innocent people and terrorized millions until we recognized them as legitimate. Why wouldn’t Hamas do the same thing? We must start acting like a super power and damn the opinions of those who haven’t the courage to stand up to thugs. If we have to kill the killers to stop the killing, then let’s rumble.
